Rice Balls with Beef (or ground turkey)


YIELD 4 servings
TOTAL TIME 25 minutes

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 c brown rice (cooked)
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/4 green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook rice according to directions. Add cooked rice to raw ground beef and other ingredients. Shape into balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until meat is thoroughly cooked.
