Avocado Brownies

Preparation: 10 min Cook Time: 25 min Serves: 12 


Ingredients:
1 cup dark chocolate chunks
1/4 cup grass-fed butter
1 avocado
2 eggs
1/3 cup maple sugar or coconut palm sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
One pinch fine sea salt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking dish with parchment paper
2. Heat chocolate and butter in a double boiler over the stove until melted
3. In a blender, blend avocado until smooth
4. Mix avocado into chocolate mixture
5. Add in eggs and whisk to combine
6. Add in maple syrup, maple sugar (or coconut palm sugar), cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and
vanilla
7. Add in chocolate chunks and pour into baking dish
8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
9. Let cool completely before cutting
